The genre of this movie is comedy. It is take place in France. This movie talks about a detective life, Clouseou, that have a mission to protect The Pink Panther, an artifact that really famous in France. The main characters in this movie are Inspector Clouseou ( Steve Martin ), Nicole ( Emily Mortimer ), Ponton ( Jean Reno ), and Sonia ( Aishwarya Rai Bachan ). Clouseu is the leader of Dream Team. Dream team is a team that has a mission to caught The Tornado that stole The Pink Panther.
This movie is totally funny. I like the character of Clouseou. All of his actions make me laughed. He is a unique detective. Actually he is very smart, but he always made many problems to people around him. He does not look as smart as he is. Many people underestimate him even his team members because of the trouble that he done. I like the way he solves the case or problem. That was really unpredictable way. That was really funny and I cannot stop laughed when I watch it. He just going on with his way and never care about what other people think about him.
I really like this movie because comedy movie is my favorite genre of movie. Steve Martin had been succeed play this character. This movie can combine the problem and trouble that Clouseou done and the love story of Clouseou with Nicole. However, I think the problem in this movie was not really complicated. There are too many funny scenes so I cannot feel the struggle emotion of the players when they solved the case. I think it’s better if the movie have more balances between the funny scene and the serious scene. I also think that the main character in this movie, Clouseou, is too old because her partner that he loves, Nicole, is still young. So, when they falling in love each others, it looks strange for me. Overall, I still like this movie because this movie is totally funny.
